Meet Steve...

Steve has been performing in Colorado Springs since 2013 when he joined Improv Colorado. Not long after that he started acting in local Colorado Springs theatre, joining casts at the Black Box, Springs Ensemble Theater, Funky Little Theater, and finally finding a home with the Star Bar Players. Since then he has expanded his scope to include film and commercial work.

Steve believes in practice and training, and like most of us he prefers to train locally, but he's willing to travel to get what he wants. He's been to Denver for improv workshops by David Razowsky and Mark Beltzman, and has more recently begun studying the Chubbuck Technique for actors from Rebekah Wiggins in Denver and Albuquerque.

He loves improv, and he loves acting, and he looked for a workshop that brought the two together. Since he couldn't find what he was looking for he decided it was time to just make it himself.

Meet Nicole...

follow nicole

Nicole's passion for performing was sparked by her first step on stage in middle school. She has continued to follow that passion ever since!

Nicole's acting career really blossomed once she moved to Colorado Springs in 2011. This move led to her joining The Dinner Detective (a partly scripted, mostly improv based, murder mystery dinner show company). It also led to her acting in theatre; joining casts at the Black Box, Funky Little Theater, UCCS, and Theatre d'Art. Since then she has expanded her career even further by stepping into film and commercial work.

Nicole believes in growing and strengthening one's skills. She believes that the best way to achieve this is by practice and training, which can be through a variety of different platforms, classes, workshops, etc. Whether that means training locally or making worthwhile trips to other locations. One of her current workshops is the Chubbuck Technique for actors that is taught by Rebekah Wiggins in Denver and Albuquerque.

She is so excited to be working with The Actors Improv Workshop. She loves that this workshop combines skills and training for improv and acting. Additionally, this class provides a safe and welcoming environment for actors with all different levels of experience. It's a workshop where you can feel comfortable and are encouraged to make bold choices
